About Me
Dr. Lindsey Wilkerson holds a PhD in Educational Leadership from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She has published peer-reviewed research in the Christian Education Journal and the Journal of Applied Christian Leadership. She is currently writing a book featuring her Inquiry Design Method for Christian Education that utilizes the latest in educational research and neuroscience to design curriculum and improve instructional effectiveness in educational ministry.
She has designed discipleship curriculum for churches in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and currently writes curriculum for Lifeway Christian resources. She is also working with local churches to develop curriculum. This includes Sunday school and small group curriculum and an informal, seminary-like curriculum focused on the fundamentals of faith such as hermeneutics, biblical theology, and systematic theology. She also serves the church by training teachers in large group sessions and one-on-one lesson preparation and reflection coaching sessions.
Dr. Wilkerson has worked for almost 20 years in public education as an educator, counselor, teaching evaluator, instructional coach, and professional development leader and trainer. She brings academic depth, a wide range of knowledge in effective instructional strategies, and practical ministry experience to help churches build teaching ministries that are biblically faithful, instructionally sound, and intentionally focused on discipleship for Christlike transformation.
